Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) is an advanced satellite navigation technique designed for achieving highly accurate positioning in real-time. RTK DGPS operates by comparing the positions of a stationary reference station, which has known coordinates, to those of a mobile receiver (rover) in the field. The reference station continuously receives signals from GPS satellites and calculates corrections for errors in the rover's position measurements. It addresses factors that can affect GPS accuracy, such as satellite orbit errors, atmospheric delays, and clock discrepancies.
